Events

Dear participants at the MIR conference 2009,

The organization of the MIR conference had been a pleasure for us and meeting you all an unforgettable experience. We believe that watching your valuable presentations, meeting you as people and sharing experiences about our beloved language (English) is an image that goes on with our work, exploration, and enthusiasm we all share. We will stay in touch because of that which makes us glad.

We would also like to kindly ask you for your papers. If you want them to be published in our MIR journal, please, send them by e-mail no later than 31st December 2009.

We hope that our next conference will be a new chance to meet you again. Or maybe somewhere else, "somewhere over the rainbow where skies are blue and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true".

Best wishes

Testimonials of the participants

Dear organizers,

Thank you for uploading the photos and sending everyone the link, they are really beautiful!
It was a pleasure to be part of your conference and you were wonderful hosts. I heard a lot of brilliant ideas, saw many creative presentations, and, most importantly, thought about most intriguing questions the participants asked each other. The conference was really enjoyable on all levels (including the lavish buffet :)) and I feel I've made new friends and colleagues.
I hope we stay in touch and if you ever decide to visit Belgrade, I'd be glad to be your host and guide.
Best regards,

Aleksandra Maric

Dear postgraduate students,

Your conference was a precious experience for me. The organizers were friendly, open-hearted, hospitable, smiling all the time. The atmosphere was quite positive and enjoyable. I am really looking forward to seeing the same faces again next year. I was really honoured for being a part of the whole event.
I would like to suggest, if you would'n t mind, to separate the literarure and language sections next year so that much time could be saved.
W Best regards to all of you,

Sandra Stefanovic
